Me Time required
Organic hair colours need time to deposit colour on your hair. Please allow the following amount of time for your colour treatment.
Non Grey coverage : 1 hr +
Grey coverage : 3 hrs
Amount of product required
Short hair & root touch ups - 1/2 pack
Medium hair - 1 pack
Long hair - 1 to 1.5 packs
Super long hair - 2 to 3 packs
Thick hair - will need to add an extra 1/4 pack for short hair and 1/2 (short to medium) to 3/4 pack (for long hair)
*Please note - repeated use will see your colour become richer and in some cases darker. I love this product.
I received the wrong colour. I ordered two boxes of Honey Shadow but received two boxes of a different colour. Could I please send the two boxes back and get the correct colour? Thank you

Great colour with only natural ingredients
I'd been looking for an all natural hair colour to cover the grey for quite some time and I'm so pleased with, not just the results, but my scalp does not get itchy with the product in my hair because there are no nasty chemicals in the mixes. If you follow the instructions on how to mix the powders into a paste to allow them to activate, you realise it's a fairly simple process. Then you just need to keep the product in your hair for 3 to 4 hours to ensure the greys are covered, but the result is worth it.

Love love love!
I am so happy with this product and the colour. I’ve been transitioning off shampoo for 9 months and was so grateful to find I could still dye my hair in a no fox fashion with Desert Shadow. I’m not quite ready to embrace my greys :) with Charmaine’s advice and guidance in choosing colour, I mix Caramel and Honey and I love the Auburn hue in my hair it’s perfect. So grateful. Thank you.

Very happy
I am so happy to have found this all natural, Aussie owned and made product! I am transitioning away from shampoo/conditioner and hair dye. I have blonde foil highlights growing out of my hair and Charmaine was super helpful in helping me choose a colour. I ended up mixing Caramel Shadow and Honey Shadow which has left a gorgeous copper-y hue to my highlights which I adore. All the information in the packs and online were super helpful as I navigated my first time using the colour. I have super thick hair just past my shoulders and I used 4 packs which was way too much I could have gotten away with 2.5 I think. I also have a 'crown' of greys along my hair line which I was curious to see how that worked but again I am super happy with the coverage; you can see the greys are lighter in colour but they don't stand out - which was a concern I had prior to using the dye. I am a convert - good bye toxic hair products for good! Thank you Charmaine/Desert Shadow!

Honey shadow.
I was just hoping to cover the greys and eventually go lighter as my old colour grows out. It has coloured the greys a lovely light brown/golden blond. I hope the colour doesn't fade too quickly. I used another brand last time and it faded within a few washes. It has given my hair a beautiful shine and highlighted the lighter brown in my hair. So far, so good!!

Honey Shadow hair colour
This is a beautiful colour that looks very natural on light coloured hair. It blends well into my original colour when growing out. I only need to apply once every 4-5 weeks to cover roots. It’s my favourite colour in this range. It does take a few hours to do, but I find it much gentler than the commercial ‘natural’ hair colourants. When I used those, my hair used to fall out a lot. But Honey Shadow has no chemicals so my hair is very healthy now,
